13. juni, European University Association: Competitiveness, preparedness and sustainable prosperity – Universities’ role in Europe’s new policy paradigm
Lokation: Online (kl. 9.30-12.00). What is the role of universities within the new European policy paradigm of competitiveness, security and sustainable prosperity? And how can universities develop a helpful narrative for discussions both on campus with the outside world?
In this online workshop on 13 June 2025 (09.30-12.00 CEST), university leaders and strategists will share experiences, gain insights and co-develop new ideas on how universities can act and position themselves in a changing political and societal context. Facilitators from the EUA Secretariat will structure these discussions through collective foresight methods that solicit creativity and innovative thinking.
The workshop will gather up to 30 participants from EUA member universities whose role encompasses leadership and strategic decision-making functions. As the event will be highly interactive, potential participants who are committed and willing to contribute to the discussions are encouraged to apply.
The deadline for representatives of EUA member universities to submit the application form is 1 June 2025.
If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available places, EUA will make a selection to ensure that a diverse range of EUA members are represented. Applicants will be informed in due course.
